Hair stylist: Mellissa Brown

I started hairdressing in 1992, at just 16 years old, at Vidal Sassoon London.
As well as just cutting and styling, session hairdressing became my main interest. So during my 10 years in total at Sassoons, not only did I teach and work alongside the creative team, I focused on assisting session stylists, Billie Currie and Peter Grey, and gradually progressing in to the editorial side of hairdressing.

I realised this was my passion and decided to pursue my dream. I joined a small Agency and started to build my status, at this time, with the teenage magazines and newspaper supplements.

My Clientele has rapidly grown and my career has gone from strength to strength. To date I have worked with highly prestigious photographers such as, David Bailey, Matthew Shave and Eamon McCabe, and magazines such as Marie Claire, Wallpaper and Elle.

In the last three years I have had some of my biggest career highlights, my work has become even more varied, from Celebrities, Music, Fashion and Commercials and I have been lucky enough to travel the world, meet many amazing people and get involved in fantastic events and shows.

Mellissa is also a Brand Ambassador for Head and Shoulders.
