After the bold look of last week, Cheryl is ringing in the changes and keeping her look Au Naturelle this week.
The overall look was pretty in pink, so her natural French manicure was a perfect match.
Perfecting a French manicure on yourself takes a lot of practise.
In mine and my clients’ experience, the stickers that you can use as a guide to painting on the white are not worth it.
The enamel sticks to the sticker and you never seem to get a consistent look.
The trick is to turn your brush on the side and with a generous amount of enamel on your brush, sweep across the end of your nail in one movement.
Concentrate on keeping a neat smile line, and don’t worry about painting your skin (you can remove this carefully with a cotton bud when you are
dry.)
Chose a slightly milky pink to go over the top of your whites, as this will cover any small flaws in the white.
