A Real Woman in Cheryl’s Dress – Has the Daily Mail got it Wrong?!
Fascinating to read the Daily Mail this morning and see the amount of controversy surrounding the article about a real woman wearing a 3.1 Phillip Lim Ikat Print playsuit. What do you think?
If you remember, this was the multicoloured check playsuit (which some thought to be a dress) worn by Cheryl Cole at the X Factor Manchester auditions earlier this Summer. At that time, Cheryl teamed hers with some super Rupert Sanderson ‘Magnum’ style heels in green satin and a Thread Social bow belt. Unfortunately, the playsuit dress is now longer on sale.
It seems timely, then, to flag up the lookbook we created for the outfit which shows some nifty High Street alternatives…some of which are now heavily discounted – so definitely worth a look!
Don’t forget, you can always find more High St alternatives for each item within the Buy the Look section.
We’ve highlighted some items currently on sale that we think fit the bill for each item worn by Cheryl, segmented by occasion.
As ever, spread the word and get in touch to give us your feedback!
