Fashion and Celebrity Stylist Desiree Lederer says:
Saturday
This week Cheryl is continuing in the zone of what she knows best cute: high fashion dresses with a little more cute than high fashion though tonight.
Never failing to keep on trend she has gone for hot pink, one of the big colours for autumn/winter but also carrying through to spring.
Designers for a/w who had hot pink dresses ranged from Dolce, Mario Schwab, Dior Versace, Ungaro and many more…
They were shown either with all black opaque tights and black shoes or sheer legs or even hot pink tights.
Not for the faint hearted…you need to be sassy and confident to wear it, something that she is without a doubt.
It had low cut cups and narrowing front panel, with the back of the dress a dramatic sheer and black stretch bodice effect.
The skirt billowed out in mini puff ball with pocket detail on one side.
With a nod also to another trend: the 80s, she took the lead from this era too with her whole look including her hair and makeup. She wore black suede Christian Louboutin lace up booties with pointed toe in keeping with her 80s vibe but still giving it a harder edge
To finish it off she had an up hairdo with big black bow. Drop pale pink stone earrings were the last touch to show off a softer fun side and black shoe boots hardened up the look for a clever twist.
What will she be wearing next you girls might be asking.
No way of guessing really as she seems to be surprising us all each week.
We have had anything from high fashion statement, modern Hollywood, edgy glamour and simply just sexy and cute…keep watching…we are on the countdown to the final soon!
Sunday
Well it didn’t take long to wait for the next surprise.
More hot pink can we believe…
This however, was modern pink with a futuristic slant. Back to high fashion right on the pulse of what will be coming out next year.
The dress is by Jean Pierre Braganza, best known for his black edgy designs for both men and women. From his new spring summer collection for 2010, this had a great injection of lightness and elegance and of course colour.
It was a contrast of structure and softness, edge and classical…
Cleverly cut and crafted to take the little evening dress to a new level.
She wears the super low cut cleavage beautifully and the cut out drop sleeves are inspiring design, sort of epaulettes effect for the evening.
The rest of the dress flowed in total elegance. Out went the 80s and in came tomorrow.
Final touches were pink glitter ball earrings – future meets hint of 80s…
Shoes….elegant black heels and of course bare toned legs.
