Cheryl Cole appears on ‘Le Grand Journal’ on French TV

Although her public appearances in the UK have been scarce recently, Cheryl Cole has been making progress with her European promotional campaign. Earlier this week we saw her appear on the the popular French TV show “Le Grand Journal” (on the pay per view channel Canal Plus) to promote her 3 Words album.

Wearing a black and white fitted dress embellished with black lace, she looked stunning and was presented to the French audience as the “little darling” of the UK.

During the interview, Cheryl explained how she started her career with Girls Aloud and how she is now a judge on the XFactor show. Interestingly, the hosts of the programme compared Cheryl Cole to another two famous British personalities, suggesting that Cheryl is considered as a mix of Princess Diana and Victoria Beckham for her kindness and status as a fashion and style icon.

We have certainly heard the comparisons with VB previously, but the Princess Diana reference is new to us?! What do you think?
